Facility
OTCGL classes and events are held at 2150 Apollo Drive in Lansing. The building is over 7,000 square feet and boasts lots of natural light. There are two gated, matted rings. The small ring is 30' x 46’ and the large ring is 36’ x 60.’
There is a 22' x 30' classroom, two restrooms, an office/kitchen (with refrigerator, microwave, sink, coffee maker), and plenty of open space for crating. There are about a dozen crates for public use, 50 chairs, and several room dividers which can be moved as needed to adjust the space. The building is air conditioned and handicap accessible, with a double-door entrance. The back door leads to a potty area. There are two large potty yards and plenty of parking and security lighting. Street parking is also available. A garage has been converted into a Barn Hunt training ring.
Building Rental
For large events, the building can be rented for $250 per day. This includes use of both rings, common areas, and bathrooms.
For small meetings, rental is $20 per hour and limited to the classroom, common areas, and bathrooms.
Rally, Obedience, and Agility equipment are also available for rent.
Completed building rental forms must be submitted to: OTC President, 2150 Apollo Drive, Lansing, MI 48906. NOTE: An insurance rider for the event must be submitted to OTC prior to the event.
Ring Rental
We are excited to introduce our new online system (please be kind as we work out the kinks!). You can rent the big ring, the small ring, or both (price is per ring). This is a big change but will allow members to quickly see what’s available, and reserve one or both ring or rings immediately.
OTCGL members and their paid guests may rent a ring for personal training. Non-members must be accompanied by an OTCGL member. Each person must sign in and sign out in the 3-ring binder located in the building. Payment is required at the time of rental (leave check or cash in envelope or pre-pay with PayPal). Handlers must clean up after themselves, turn off lights, and lock doors. Members may not hold a class or teach private lessons for their benefit or profit.
Members: $10 per hour per member
Members: $5 per hour if vacuuming one ring at time of rental. 30 min is added to ring time to accommodate!
Non-members: $20 per hour per person
Current instructors: free
Right now our system only allows one person to reserve the ring so if training by yourself simply click the link below, reserve the ring, and you’re good to go! If you are training with someone else, you will add their names to your registration form but payment will be handled separately. They can pay in cash or check at the time of rental or they can use the link below to pay by PayPal.
